Delete your Lami account

You can delete your Lami account at any time. Below are the two ways to do it. Deletion is permanent — once processed, your profile, photos, chats and subscription history are removed from our systems.

Option 1 — From the Lami app (recommended)

  1. Open the Lami app and sign in.
  2. Tap Account in the bottom navigation.
  3. Tap Privacy.
  4. Scroll to the bottom and tap Delete my account.
  5. Confirm the deletion. Your account is closed immediately and removed from our servers within 30 days.

Option 2 — Email or WhatsApp our support team

If you no longer have access to the app (uninstalled, lost device, can't log in), contact us directly with the email or phone number you signed up with. We'll verify your identity and process the deletion within 7 business days.

Please include "Account deletion request" in the subject line so we can prioritise it.

What gets deleted

What we retain

We retain a minimal record of the deletion event (date, anonymised user identifier) for up to 90 days to comply with Nepali law, prevent abuse and audit fraud. Payment records may be retained longer where required for tax or accounting purposes. No personally identifiable data is kept after the 90-day window.
