Most couples start with the classic red-and-gold design and change the colours later.

What goes on a Nepali wedding card
A Nepali wedding card traditionally opens with शुभ विवाह, names the bride and groom with their parents ("सुपुत्री" and "सुपुत्र"), and gives the date in Bikram Sambat — often with the AD date beside it for relatives abroad. Then come the timings families care about: जन्ती प्रस्थान, the ceremony and the reception, followed by the venue and a contact number.
Every design here already has those lines in place, filled in with an example, so you can see the finished card before you type anything. Leave a line empty and it disappears from the card.
Nepali text that prints correctly
The cards use Unicode Devanagari fonts — Rozha One, Amita, Tiro, Mukta and others — so conjuncts like क्ष and त्र render properly instead of breaking the way Preeti text does when it is pasted into a design app. If you don't have a Nepali keyboard, type in Romanised Nepali here and paste the result.
Download, share or print
Download image gives a sharp picture for WhatsApp, Viber and Facebook. Download PDF gives an A5 page for the print shop. You can also save a link to your card and send that instead. Want guests to open an animated invitation with a map and countdown? Make an online wedding invitation instead.
Frequently asked
- Can I make a Nepali wedding card for free?
- Yes. The Minimal wedding design is free to download with a small lamimatrimony.com line at the bottom. Premium designs are free to try; a one-time payment for that card removes the preview marks.
- Can I add our photo to the card?
- Yes. The Photo Arch design has a frame for a couple photo, including iPhone HEIC photos. Drag the photo to position it and use the zoom slider.
- Does it show the Bikram Sambat date?
- You type the date exactly as you want it, so you can write the BS date in Nepali digits, the AD date, or both — for example मंसिर १५, २०८३ · 1 December 2026.
- Can I print the card?
- Yes. Download PDF gives a print-ready A5 page with the design filling the page, which any print shop in Nepal can print on card stock.
